LEVEL EEI – Expert Discussion: i) Financing undersupplied markets (e.g. private equity or debt funds) + Provision of flexible capital (e.g. crowdfunding, sustainability-linked loans)

Mickaël Mangot, Chief Scientific Officer “Retail and Impact Investing” at 2DII, will meet you, to discuss with you our findings on the most relevant investor impact mechanisms. For a series of three expert discussions, we invite stakeholders from the industry or academia with expertise on the achievement of investor impact to debate:

i) Financing undersupplied markets (e.g. private equity or debt funds) + Provision of flexible capital (e.g. crowdfunding, sustainability-linked loans)

ii) Price signaling (e.g. green public equity funds)

iii) Stewardship (e.g. green activist funds)

We summarized in a series of six papers our own thinking and all scientific literature we could find on the different investor impact mechanisms and derived for each of them a set of “success factors” and a respective “assessment grid” to evaluate the impact potential of different financial products. Therefore, we are delighted to present our work on the different topics and to discuss with top experts what can be added or improved.
